Wascana Hill (Unless otherwise indicated, photos by Don of www.WascanaPark.com) Located in the Douglas Park area of Wascana Centre. Across the lake from the University of Regina main campus, and the Waterfowl Display Ponds. Obviously not a very high hill, but considerably higher than the surrounding park land. For the past few years this has been the location for the Canada Day fireworks. "Wascana Hill is approximately 18 metres high and is used for recreational purposes such as tobogganing, cross-country skiing and mountain biking. The hill was constructed using soil from various building excavation sites in Wascana Centre and Regina. Try out the trails." (WCA Pamphlet)
