Depending on how one defines an "island", there are 6 within Wascana Centre.

The two familiar to most people are Willow Island and Spruce Island. Both located between the Albert Street and Broad Street bridges and are of similar size.
Willow Island is a recreational picnic island complete with barbecues, tables and washrooms.
whereas Spruce Island has been left undeveloped, intended for the use of waterfowl and other wildlife.

In the Waterfowl Park between the Broad Street Bridge and Trans Canada Highway Bridge are three islands.
Goose Island, located just east of the Waterfowl Display Ponds. As the name suggests, Goose Island was built as a nesting area for geese.
Tern Island, located south of Goose Island. Intended as a tern nesting area, it is more likely to be inhabited by geese.
A little further southeast is an unnamed "island".

Other unanamed "islands" are located in the eastern section of Wascana Centre, near the Wascana Country Club.
