There are several bridges within Wascana Centre.
On the western boundary is Albert Memorial Bridge, which is
also a dam.
Dedicated to those from Saskatchewan killed during WW1.
A little known fact is the presence of a "fish ladder".
Further east are the Pine Island Bridge,
and the Braod Street/Wascana Parkway bridge,
(built to replace the old broad street bridge).
Near Douglas Park is the Trans Canada Bridge.
On the eastern boundary of Wascana Centre is the Fleet Street Bridge.
At one time this crossing was the primary access to Regina from the south.
Two other bridges should also be mentioned.
Old Broad Street,
the south abutment is still standing and is
located across the lake from the marina. Broad Street use to cross here, but was redirected
with the construction of Wascana Parkway.
The former bridge is now being used somewhere in the Qu'Appelle Valley.
During the 2003/04 lake deepening this area was made into an island, Pine Island.
Willow Island
Once located on the north end of Willow Island.
